Health & Wellness
#1: Somatic Workout
Search Volume1: 135K  Growth (last 2 yrs): 10284%

Somatic workout focuses on mind-body connection, using gentle movements to release tension and improve posture.

It emphasizes awareness of internal sensations and can help with pain management and stress relief.

💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)

Meet Liz Tenuto (aka The Workout Witch) who is a certified somatic expert that specializes in healing the physical effects of trauma & stress. “Liz is on a mission to make somatic healing popular and accessible” according to her about page.

Liz Tenuto has 1.1M followers on instagram and 1.9M on Tiktok. According to her website, Liz has helped over “120,000 women heal from trauma and long-term stress with her viral online courses”.

Napkin math: Average course price is $57.00 × 120,000 = $6.8M in course sales

🏄‍♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)

  1. Create an interactive mobile app that can teach people and guide them through their somatic exercises. An interesting move here is to partner with corporate wellness programs.

  2. Create TikTok/Instagram accounts specialized in somatic workouts. Monetize with online courses, affiliate deals and paid partnerships.

  3. Open a somatic workout studio that offers classes and workshops focused on mind-body connection and movement therapy.

#2: Autism Spectrum Test
Search Volume1: 201K   Growth (last 2 yrs): 306%

The autism spectrum test is a tool used to assess and diagnose autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in individuals.

It typically involves a series of questions and observations to evaluate social communication, behavior, and sensory issues.

The test helps determine where an individual falls on the autism spectrum and can guide treatment and support options.

💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)

According to Ahrefs, the website clinical-partners.co.uk has a page where you can take an autism spectrum test that receives around 250K visits per month organically from search engines.

🏄‍♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)

  1. Create a mobile app/website with a better test than what’s currently available. You can monetize it by offering access to certified professionals and therapy options (lead generation).

  2. Create a media company (can be a website, newsletter, YouTube, conference…or combination of all) that can be the trusted source for autism related topics (see additudemag.com that did this for ADHD and now gets 3.4M visits/month according to SimilarWeb. It’s owned by WebMD).

Health & Wellness
#3: Hydrogen Water
Search Volume1: 301K  Growth (last 2 yrs): 2940%

Hydrogen water is water infused with extra hydrogen molecules.

It is “believed” to have antioxidant properties and potential health benefits such as reducing inflammation and improving athletic performance.

💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)

According to JungleScout, this hydrogen water bottle generates 6510 sales per month on Amazon. (that’s an estimated monthly revenue of $280K)

🏄‍♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)

  1. Create a DTC brand for hydrogen water bottles or tablets. Hydrohbottle (287K traffic in March 2024 according to SimilarWeb) seem to be doing well for a company created 4 months ago.

  2. Launch a dropshipping business. Import these bottles from sites like Aliexpress (example of hydrogen water for only $10) and sell them on the US with a markup.

#4: Wall Pilates
Search Volume1: 135K  Growth (last 2 yrs): 96328.57%

Wall Pilates is a form of Pilates that incorporates the use of a wall for support and resistance during exercises.

It helps improve alignment, stability, and strength by utilizing the wall as a tool for added challenge. This trend is gaining popularity for its unique approach to traditional Pilates exercises.

💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)

Rachel’s Fit Pilates is a Youtube channel with over 500K subscribers created only 2 years ago that focuses mainly on “wall pilates”.

This channel is the first result on Youtube when you search for the keyword “wall pilates” (99K exact query search volume) and it seems that it has ridden this tremendous wave to achieve a rapid growth in Youtube subscribers.

🏄‍♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)

  • Create TikTok/Instagram accounts focused only on wall pilates. Become the go-to source when it comes to wall pilates. Monetize with online courses and paid partnerships.

  • Create a DTC brand focused on pilates that sells pilates outfits, equipment and accessories for at-home use.

  • Partner with gyms and fitness studios to offer virtual wall pilates classes as part of their class offerings.

Games
#5: NYT connections
Search Volume1: 6.12M  Growth (last 2 yrs): 61199900%

Connections is a word puzzle developed and published by The New York Times as part of The New York Times Games.

It was released for PC on June 12, 2023, during its beta phase. It is the second most played game that is published by Times, behind Wordle

💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)

Besides the NYT of course, we see several sites offering the same game but that can be played without the one game per day limit that NYT has.

An example is this site called Connections Unlimited that has received last month (March 2024) an estimated monthly traffic of 1.6M according to SimilarWeb.

🏄‍♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)

  • Create a mobile app with the same concept as NYT Connections but that is unlimited and has a better UI. The exact keyword “nyt connections unlimited” has a monthly search volume of 28K in the US.

  • Create a website that posts daily hints and answers to the NYT Connections game (example). This can be easily automated and then monetized using Display Ads. The exact keyword “nyt connections hint” has a monthly search volume of 132K in the US.

MFM meme of the week

This is the corner where we show our love for the “manifest cowboys” as we’re HUGE fans of the podcast Sam’s big thighs ;)

Fun fact: RisingTrends was initially inspired by the “one chart businesses” framework shared on the podcast.

This week’s meme is about Sam’s new project Sam’s List. If you haven’t already, go listen to what Sam’s saying about it and why he thinks the project will probably fail. Watch the segment on Youtube here

That’s it folks!

I hope you enjoyed these breakdowns as much as I did.

See you next week with more rising trends.
