Beauty
#1: Beef Tallow For Skin
Search Volume1: 27K Growth (last 2 yrs): 10323%

Beef tallow for skin is a trend where rendered beef fat is used in skincare products.
It is believed to be rich in vitamins and fatty acids that can nourish and moisturize the skin. Some also claim that it has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties.
💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)
Sun & Moo is a DTC brand offering organic tallow-based skincare products launched 2 years ago. According to SimilarWeb, their website gets an average of 28.5K visits/month.
Their top product Age Reverse has 212 positive reviews and retails at $45. If we assume a conservative 3% conversion rate, then this store is probably making anywhere between $35-40K every month (855 sales x $45 avg. price). Not bad!
🏄♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)
1) Create a DTC company offering a line of skincare products using beef tallow as a main ingredient, marketing them as natural and nourishing for the skin.
2) Start a Youtube channel on how to make homemade skincare products using beef tallow. You can also offer online courses.
Health & Wellness
#2: Mewing
Search Volume1: 823K Growth (last 2 yrs): 1012%

Mewing is a trend focused on tongue posture and oral posture to improve facial structure and overall health.
It involves resting the tongue on the roof of the mouth and proper swallowing techniques. The goal is to promote proper alignment of the jaw and facial muscles.
💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)
An app called Jawline Exercises was able to capitalize on this trend and get 10 millions installs on Google Play (930K in last April alone according to AppFigures). It was only launched 10 months ago!
And it’s just a simple app that guides you to do exercises that will make your jaw look more masculine. As far as I can tell, this growth is mostly organic driven by ranking for keywords such as “face exercise” and “mewing“ on the Play Store.
🏄♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)
Create a mobile app that offers personalized mewing exercises and tutorials for individuals looking to improve their facial structure.
Start a DTC brand that sells equipment and accessories that can help men workout their jaws. Jawsrsize is a company doing this already and has an estimated traffic of 134.5K/month.
Start a mewing coaching service for clients seeking one-on-one guidance and support in their mewing journey.
Games
#3: Spell Check Game
Search Volume1: 36K Growth (last 2 yrs): 49233%

Spell check game is a new web-based game that lets you practice your vocabulary by spelling words after hearing their pronunciation.
It was created and popularized by the Youtube channel Answer in Progress (cool launch video here). You can play the game here at spellcheck.xyz
💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)
Spellcheck.xyz website has received an estimated 308.1K monthly visits last month (April 2024) according to SimilarWeb.

this is how the game looks like on spellcheck.xyz
As the game went viral, there were of course copycats like spellcheckgame.com (careful: too many ads) that is getting around 145K visits per month.
🏄♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)
Create a mobile app with the same concept that has a better UI and more gamification. If you can, partner with original creators of the game.
Create a content website around the game where you share tips and hints/answers to the daily game.
Hobbies
#4: Lego Flowers
Search Volume1: 673K Growth (last 2 yrs): 306%

Lego flowers are a trend where people create realistic-looking flowers using Lego pieces.
This trend combines the creativity of building with Legos with the beauty of flowers, resulting in unique and colorful creations.
💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)
Besides LEGO, we wanted to see if there are any smaller players in the space that were able to capitalize on this trend.
We found this seller called LHCX on the emerging e-commerce platform Temu that has sold over 65K items that are mostly LEGO-like building blocks in the past 12 months
Their most popular product is this Bonsai Tree Building Set that they are selling for around $10 (LEGO sets usually retail at around $40-$50). According to Temu, the have sold around 24K of this item.
🏄♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)
Create a subscription service that sends customers a new lego flower kit each month, allowing them to build and collect a variety of different flowers. Brickloot.com does this but for all LEGO sets (48K visits/month)
Create a Youtube channel where you teach people how to create their own custom lego flower arrangements.
Wild ChatGPT idea: Partner with event planners or florists to offer lego flower centerpieces for weddings or other special events.
Travel
#5: Anti-Theft Travel Bag
Search Volume1: 14K Growth (last 2 yrs): 536%

An anti-theft travel bag is a type of bag designed with security features to prevent theft while traveling.
These bags often have hidden pockets, slash-proof straps, RFID-blocking technology, and locking zippers to keep belongings safe.
They are popular among travelers looking to protect their valuables from pickpockets and thieves.
💰 Who’s winning? (one example of what success looks like)
The travel bags e-commerce company Travelon seems to be killing it in this sub-niche.
Looking only at one of their top products on Amazon, JungleScout estimates that they are doing 5,130 sales per month with a retail price of $30-50. That’s an estimated $205K top line revenue from one single product on one single platform.
🏄♂️ Ride the wave (2/3 business ideas to capitalize on this trend)
Build a DTC brand specialized in anti-theft travel bag accessories such as RFID-blocking wallets, luggage locks, and secure phone holders.
Wild ChatGPT idea: Partner with travel insurance companies to offer discounts on insurance for customers who purchase anti-theft travel bags.

MFM meme of the week
This is the corner where we show our love for the “manifest cowboys” as we’re HUGE fans of the podcast Sam’s big thighs ;)
Fun fact: RisingTrends was initially inspired by the “one chart businesses” framework shared on the podcast.
This week’s meme is about the Summer Million Fitness Challenge that is happening this weekend where MFMers will be sharing videos filming themselves doing 100 push-ups, 100 air squats, and 100 burpees for a chance to win Cold plunges and cash prizes.
Some people already shared their videos this past weekend. Our favorite one so far is this video from two twins in Canada wearing a funny costume 😂

That’s it folks!
I hope you enjoyed these breakdowns as much as I did.
See you next week with more rising trends.
